What information do we collect?
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We collect information from you when you email us, fill out a form or call the Postpartum Health Alliance Warmline. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. When filling out a form on our site, you may be asked to enter your name, address, e-mail address, phone number or other demographic information, including but not limited to your occupation, language, zip code, area code, ethnicity and insurance carrier. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
What do we use your information for?
We will only use your information to respond to you via email or telephone regarding the reason you contacted us. Any of the information we collect from you may also be used in one of the following ways:
- To improve customer service (your information helps us to more effectively respond to customer service requests and support needs.)
- For confidential data analysis to be used to measure organizational effectiveness and to submit grant applications.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of personal information you enter or submit. All information collected for data analysis is collected in a form that does not, on its own, permit direct association with any specific individual and adheres to ethical and legal standards of confidentiality.
Following all contact on our Warmline, our organization requests information via online survey. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate. Information requested may include non-identifying demographic information, including but not limited to your zip code, area code, ethnicity, insurance carrier and satisfaction of Postpartum Health Alliance’s services. Contact information will remain confidential and survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving our organizational mission.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our organization and serve on the Warmline. We may also release your information when we believe it is necessary to comply with the law.
