Emily is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C) with a deep passion for supporting individuals and families through every stage of the reproductive journey. Through her group psychotherapy practice, Reproductive Mental Health and Wellness, she works with clients navigating infertility, pregnancy loss, complicated pregnancies, birth trauma, NICU experiences, perinatal mental health disorders, and parenting. Her commitment to this work is informed not only by her professional training and experience, but also by her own winding path to parenthood and the challenges she faced along the way.
In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband of 21 years, their rainbow baby (who’s not such a baby anymore!), their rescue dog, and friends. She loves playing board games, reading, arts and crafts, taking walks, and listening to podcasts. Since joining PHA in 2017, she has found invaluable support and community and is honored to give back to an organization that has meant so much to her and continues to make a meaningful impact in San Diego.
