MFT44277Bio:
Motherhood is one of the most challenging transitions in a woman's life. While it has many joys, it can also be a very stressful time. Getting help is important during this period, especially if you are suffering from depression, anxiety or have experienced a traumatic birth. I have been specializing in pregnancy/fertility/loss and postpartum issues for over 20 years. With special expertise in EMDR therapy, I work with trauma and pregnancy/birth trauma in particular. I also offer many tools to help cope with anxiety. Additionally, I have been trained in other trauma therapies such as Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT or tapping) and Brainspotting. I am past president of the Postpartum Health Alliance and have given numerous trainings on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
