LCSW #74356, PMH-CBio:I am thrilled to be a part of the postpartum health alliance and hope that everyone browsing here finds the support they are looking for. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW #74356) in the state of California, and am a certified perinatal mental health specialist (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. Working with me is typically sprinkled with warmth, leaning hard into self-compassion, recognizing your values & worth, and humor/sarcasm which leads to lots of laughter and lots of facial expressions (no neutral face here - I’m not that kind of therapist - but who knows, I haven’t dabbled into botox yet). I have been working in the field since 2008, with the bulk of my career working as a medical social worker at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital and Rady Children's Hospital. I walked alongside families as they navigated infertility, pregnancy loss, infant loss, NICU admissions, ICU admissions for both mother and child, devastating diagnoses, high risk pregnancies, and various presentations of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, among countless other chronic medical conditions for children. I feel so privileged to now leverage this knowledge and experience to work directly with clients navigating perinatal and parenting challenges in individual and couples therapy.Specialty/Interest:
