Tiffany Truong
LMFTBio:Prior to becoming a mental health therapist, I was a fine arts assistant for an expressive arts therapy group, an after-school art teacher for elementary students, and a behavior interventionist for youth with special needs. I have extensive experience working with youth ages 8-18, young adults, and adults that are parents. I have previously worked in community mental health, and school-based therapy at a local high school. I was also a CalWORKS mental health therapist and collaborated with my adult clients to reduce any mental health barriers that impacted their employment. In the past I have also worked at agencies that specialized in serving Latinx and Asian-American Pacific Islander (AAPI) youth and their families. I view therapy as a collaborative conversation between myself and my client. Together we will discuss concerns that you have and work together to find solutions that feel right for you. As a client-centered therapist, I love incorporating your hobbies and interests into sessions to make therapy feel more relatable and applicable to your everyday life. At my virtual "therapy couch" I hope to provide a space where you can feel safe to be yourself, and incorporate some humor here and there!
