Bio:I have 20 years of psychiatric nursing experience. I have been serving the community as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) specializing in women's mental health since 2007 and have worked at the New York Presbyterian/ Weill Cornell and UCSD Women's Reproductive Mental Health Clinics. I recently started a private practice, working in collaboration with Alison Reminick, MD. I am also a clinical associate professor at the University of San Diego Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science PMHNP program. PMHNPs are advanced practice nurses who assess, diagnose and treat mental health needs by providing counseling, psychotherapy and medication management. In my free time, I enjoy taking taking yoga and modern dance classes.Specialty/Interest:
