I am a bicultural and bilingual native San Diegan. I earned my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego, CA (an American Psychological Association accredited program), and I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology from San Diego State University. I have practiced therapy in a variety of clinical settings from county funded mental health organizations, integrated behavioral health, outpatient community clinics, and crisis residential programs, to university counseling centers and private practice. I am fluent in Spanish and enjoy working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. I like working collaboratively with clients and other healthcare providers to help identify and cope/treat environmental, social, and health factors that may be interfering with the ability to live a fulfilling life. Currently, I work in private practice conducting psychological evaluations for persons going through immigration legal cases.
