I've been a Marriage & Family therapist for over 25 years. For the past ten years I have worked telephonically with prenatal and postpartum women nationwide as an Anthem Blue Cross Behavioral Health Care Manager. I attended a PSI training and conference several years ago and more recently the PSI conference here in San Diego. I have passion for women and maternity issues. I also specialize in chemical dependency after nine years working at Scripps McDonald in the 90's. I am in the process of becoming certified in EMDR, hoping to be able to facilitate healing of birth trauma. In talking to so very many new mothers over a ten year period, I found that many experienced birth trauma that went unaddressed when dealing with a newborn. I am looking forward to having a small private practice again and being able to offer hope and healing.
