Asking for help doesn't mean you're weak, it means you want to remain strong! You feel exhausted, irritable, and tired. It may feel like you are riding an emotional rollercoaster! You may have trouble bonding with your baby. You feel lost, confused, and sad. At times, you may have scary thoughts and images about your child. You feel scared to say, sometimes it doesn’t feel so good to be a parent. And it sucks to feel that way. You feel guilty and ashamed for having those thoughts and feelings. I would like you to know that you are not alone. You don’t deserve to suffer in silence. My own experience becoming a parent led me to find my passion in parental mental health. My purpose is to help you feel like yourself again. Being with someone who cares, and listens, that itself is healing. When you come to therapy, you get to be vulnerable, explore your fears, difficult feelings, and thoughts. I understand one single approach doesn’t fit everyone that is why during our collaborative therapy sessions, I’ll help you build the skills and insight you need in order to feel like yourself again and feel emotionally balanced while adjusting to your new life.
