You feel exhausted, irritable, and tired. It may feel like you are riding an emotional rollercoaster! You may have trouble bonding with your baby. You may be experiencing immense emotional pain after a miscarriage, abortion or birth trauma. You might be struggling with infertility and you feel like no one understands you. You feel lost, confused, and sad. At times, you may have scary thoughts and images about your baby. You feel ashamed to say that 'sometimes it doesn’t feel so good to be a parent'. You feel guilty for having those thoughts and feelings. You may wonder if you are doing enough and if you are a good parent. It sucks to feel that way. I would like you to know that you are not alone. You don’t deserve to suffer in silence. My own experience becoming a parent led me to find my passion in parental mental health. My purpose is to help you feel like yourself again. Being with someone who cares, and listens, that itself can be healing. When you come to therapy, you get to be vulnerable, explore your fears, difficult feelings, and thoughts. I understand one single approach doesn’t fit everyone that is why during our collaborative therapy sessions, I’ll help you build the skills and gain the insight you need in order to understand and accept your 'new' identity, navigate through relationship challenges and feel emotionally balanced while adjusting to your new life. I offer telehealth sessions in California as I understand it can be challenging to leave the house when you feel sad and overwhelmed. I also offer walk and talk therapy in San Diego, CA as it may feel good to get outside while your baby is napping in the stroller. Feel free to email to or call me at 619-333-0896 to book your 15-minute free consultation.
