Kelsie Nuno, MSW, ASW completed her master's degree in social work from San Diego State University in 2018 with an emphasis in children and families. She began working for the UCSD Mother Child Adolescent HIV Program in 2019 and currently provides comprehensive medical case management and mental health services to a diverse population. She serves women and children dealing with complex psychosocial barriers and is a strong advocate for accessible medical and social care. Kelsie provides trauma-informed care to pregnant women during their OB care and specializes in mental health services postpartum. Kelsie is passionate about bridging the gaps in maternal mental health and as a result established a virtual postpartum support group, Moms Meet Up, that meets on a weekly basis. She recently completed Postpartum Support International’s Advanced Psychotherapy Training and continues to seek opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
