I am an adult Psychiatrist with 20 years of experience. My private practice is in San Diego near UTC. Women make up a large share of my patient population; and I especially enjoy the rapid improvement pregnant and postpartum women can see with medication and psychotherapy treatments. Collaboration is key when it comes to getting the most out of psychiatric treatment- that applies to patients and doctors, along with therapists and family members. Coming from a large family, and having 2 children of my own help me to relate to the particular challenges women face as mothers, wives, sisters and daughters.
